Raw Recycled Glass Fiber
A4S uses a mechanical recycling process to shred wind turbine blade material and separate the fiber from the resinous “fines”. A4S produces and sells recycled glass fiber can be processed into long fiber, short fiber, or mixed with the fines. This recycled fiber and fines can be used in concrete, asphalt, shingles, and various oil & gas applications. Additional uses include upcycle manufacturing, such as fiberglass spray up applications. Customer Liability Protection:
- A4S is an approved Renewable Energy Recycling Facility vendor with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. A new law in the state of Oklahoma went into effect in Nov 2023, requiring renewable energy recycling facilities to provide financial evidence equal to 125% of the estimated cost to recycle the inventory on hand. This law ensures the financial liability will not be returned to wind farm owners/operators if the recycling facility is unable to fulfill its recycling obligations.
